Neil Cooper was forced to replace the keeper with youngster James Blanchard who is back in action after his leg break. The young keeper could do little to stop the only goal of the match however when Paul Quinn fired a screamer past him in the 51st minute. The Dons failed to find a way past the visitors defence as they recorded their second defeat of the week.
After the game, manager Neil Cooper was unhappy with the standard of play. "It wasn't great and although we probably didn't deserve to lose, we didn't really deserve to win either. Defensively we were sound, particularly after having to readjust when David went off but I wasn't happy with what we showed in either midfield or attack. It was two young sides on view but both teams can play better."
