Reserves Only Draw
Aberdeen Reserves had Crieff Morrisonians at Pittodrie under northern league auspices, but had to be contented with a division of the points, each side scoring once. Aberdeen Reserves were first to score, the point coming as the result of a pretty run and cross by Anderson, McIntosh being the actual scorer. Aberdeen continued to have the best of matters for a time. Anderson, the Banks of Dee junior, did some clever things on the right, but on the whole of the home side were weak in front of goal, and at the interval led by the only goal of the period.
Up the Morrisonians were seen to better advantage in the second half, but Aberdeen again took up the running, McIntosh, green, and Anderson all having good tries. A breakaway by the visitors brought the equalising goal. Ronald failed to clear a cross by Crerar, and Taylor piloted the ball into the net. Aberdeen attacked strongly near the finish, but failed to take the lead, and the game ended one all.
