The deciding game for the Aderdeenshire Cup was played at Pittodrie on Saturday when Aberdeen, represented for the most part by the A team players, met Peterhead. From the start the home team took the initiative, and had matters practically all their own way. The first half was for the most part a continuous assault on the Peterhead's goal by the Aberdeen forwards, and a few sorties by the visitors were successfully stopped by the defence. Main opened the scoring for Aberdeen, and his lead was quickly followed by Robertson. Main headed another point before the interval.
After the resumption Robertson again netted, and McLeod next shot two goals. Robertson, who was showing much dash, distinguished himself by giving Aberdeen another point, the third obtained by him during the game. Shortly before fulltime Peterhead rallied, and Davidson and Imlah gave the visitors are a couple of goals.
