Good Result

The Young Dons made things difficult for themselves last week at Firhill but they managed to finish ahead of Partick Thistle "A" - good going away from home. Towards the end of the game our Reserves were just managing to hang on to their lead - and that state of affairs need never have occurred. They were leading at half-time by 4-1 (a most satisfactory position) and in the second half they should have gone all out to increase their lead. Instead they made what might have proved to be the fatal mistake of resting on their laurels. The home side got two goals and then, urged on by their supporters, hit the Dons with "everything bar the goal-posts." Let's hope the Young Dons will remember the lesson!
