Reserves Go Under

A POWERFUL Aberdeen reserve team proved themselves to be a cut above Falkirk "A" in the arts and crafts of the game at Brockville, and were in no way flattered by their 5-1 victory.

According to my South correspondent the young Dons had outstanding personalities in Kenny Thomson at centre-half, who gave a first-class display, and Tommy Pearson, who was the star in attack.
