No Chance Against Bright Young Dons

Young Dons Delight

Despite the fact that Brechin fans saw their team beaten 5-1, the Glebe Park faithful left the ground smiling, for they had just been treated to a really first-class display from an Aberdeen side which would have put most "B" Division elevens to shame.
Brechin’s defence did well to keep the score down, but Tidy in goal was their real hero.
The diminutive McNeill responded ably to the excellent prompting of Pearson and apart from his well-taken hat-trick had numerous other tries, two of which were miraculously saved by Tidy.
