Young Dons Late Double

FOUR WINS in four Reserve League outings is a good start, but the players - and their own band of faithful supporters - could have got little satisfaction out of last week's win over Kilmarnock. A couple of weeks ago at Muirton the young Dons had done well to win 2-0. They took a long time to get used to a different type of ball being used by St. Johnstone, but once Jim Henry scored a crackling goal midway through the second half the writing was on the wall. Bobby Street scored for the first time since his return to duty. Young John Hather continued his successful run at full back, completely subduing the experienced Fred Aitken on the St Johnstone left wing.
