Young Dons Find It Tough

After our convincing win over Dundee United we were confident that we would have no trouble getting a win at Tynecastle, after a poor first half display, we changed our tactics at half time, and earned ourselves a 2 each drawn. Jim George (who played the last half hour with a broken finger) saved us from being well in arrears at half time with some excellent saves, he is gaining in confidence in every game plus the fact the players in front of him have started to be confident in him.
It was good to have Chic McLelland back with us after injury and his experience was invaluable to our stop gap centre backs Bobby Glennie and Neil Cooper who both did a good job. Jim Henry did his usual generals roll in midfield, although he blotted his copy book by missing a penalty after scoring from an earlier award when Ian Gibson was brought down from behind. Walker McCall showed something like the form that we know he is capable of and his equalising goal in the last minute was a real "cracker". Ian Gibson and Ernie Drews were other players who acquitted themselves well.
