Reserves Lose In Goal Thriller

The Reserve squad were given a timely jolt a couple of weeks back in the shape of a 4-3 home defeat by Hamilton. "It possibly looked a simple fixture on paper because we had a strong team out," said coach Teddy Scott. "Maybe some of the players thought they had only to go out onto the pitch and that would be enough. As a result we did not have enough commitment and we rightly paid the penalty. "We could have lost by more than we did," he added.
Dons suffered the indignity of being 3-0 down at half time and though they then got things going a little better with goals by Charlie Nicholas, Paul Wright and Tom Jones to level at 3-3 Hamilton got a deserved winner in the last minute.
