Armstrong Goal Beats Queen's

The holiday match at Pittodrie yesterday, wnen the Dons beat Queen's Park by the odd goal in three, attracted a crowd of about 4000.

With nothing at stake, the players took matters easy, although there were spells of bright and clever football.
There was no scoring in the first half. Immediately after the resumption Collier, playing left half for the Dons, put through his own goal. Cox, however, equalised, and Armstrong got the winning goal. Aberdeen had two local Juniors, Anderson, of Mugiemoss, and Amos, of Hall and Co. at centre-half and outside left respectively. Both acquitted themselves well. Anderson played a strong, forcing game, and Amos did some clever work on the left.
