The Dons had a couple of half chances, shots flashed across the goal which they could have done better with but no real chance of note.
After a few words from the Neil Cooper at half time Aberdeen put in a vastly improved performance in the second half. Stephen O'Neill, Declan McManus and Dean Carse all had chances. The best of which fell to Dean but when he was one on one with the keeper he put his shot agonisingly wide.
Aberdeen dominated the possession in the final stages but they had to settle going back up the road with a point.
Neil Cooper told RedWeb:
"The second half performance was a lot better.
"We are pleased with the second half performance. We are pleased with the clean sheet.
"The positives today are another clean sheet and the performance of the back four and the goalkeeper.
"However we were poor in the first (half). We did not play as well as we can.
"Our standards picked up to where they should be in the second half but you can't do that. You have to do it from the start of the game.
