A huge travelling support from Aberdeen cheered 'The Dons' on continuously as their heroes tried their utmost to break the Rangers/Celtic dominance of championship successes. Even an unsavable 30 yard rocket from Strachan wasn't enough to claim both points, although a share of the points was just about right The result put Aberdeen one point ahead of Celtic with two games to go, and the dream was still very much alive.
