Heart of Midlothian 0 - 7 Aberdeen

ABERDEEN are playing football of championship class at present. Their 7-0 victory over Hearts at Tynecastle did not flatter them. In fact, the Dons were merciful.
In their last two games they have scored twelve goals without reply from the opposition, and have now by far the best goal average in the League.

The Dons are still second in the League. Raith Rovers are equal in points, while Dundee, who got through at Falkirk by the odd goal, remain in the lead.
The match at Tynecastle was another triumph for Waldron, the Dons' centre, who had four of the seven goals. He just failed to get a fith. He has scored seven in the last two games, and is now leading scorer in the League with twenty to his credit.
The outstanding feature of the Dons' display was the form of the inside forwards. Pattillo, and Green. Pattillo provided several of the openings which brought goals. Green counted twice. Munro, who had the seventh and Miller were good wingers.
Dunlop was easily the outstanding halfback afield, and Russell and Taylor also played their parts well.
Johnstone, Cooper and Dyer were never in difficulties. Johnstone had not one really direct shot to deal with during the game.
