Aberdeen this afternoon took on English Premiership side Fulham in a behind closed doors friendly.
The Dons faced Marco Silva’s side, who finished 11th in the Premiership last season, at Fulham’s Training Ground, Motspur Park, on the outskirts of London with both sides naming strong starting line-ups.
Our Australian summer signing Kusini Yengi put us in front early on after Topi Keskinen had done well to win the ball back high up the park.
Harry Wilson netted a first-half double for the home side, with his first goal coming from the penalty spot, before he finished off a well worked Fulham team move.
The Cottagers changed their team around at the break and Rodrigo Muniz’s header deflected in off of Yengi as Fulham netted their third just after the re-start. Josh King rounded off the scoring with a well taken goal just after the 70 minute mark.
We would like to thank all of the players and staff at Fulham for their warm hospitality and wish them all of the best for the upcoming season.
