Profile:
Won a Highland League champions medal with Aberdeen A in 1924. Became a director of the Club in 1936 and served on the board till his death in April 1980. During that period, he was Chairman from 1958 until he stood down in favour of Dick Donald in June 1970.

After his playing days, Charles became a teacher and later headmaster in Aberdeen schools.
